Aquamarine

This average-sized caudiciform grows up to 53 feet (16.2 meters) tall. The narrow stem is aquamarine, and is dotted with small white spines. It has a crooked, flat, blood red trunk atop a flat block of waxy, exposed roots. The branches are thin and red and are short and thin.

The smooth-edged, slender, pointed leaves are solid magenta or drab orange, with blue splotches. They are flexible, but detach easily.

It is steady-growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are pastel red on the underside and pastel purple on the top grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with 7 raised round-tipped petals. It has a weak scent that smells like warm cookies.

The caudiciform's skin is thick, the brown flesh is leathery, and the yellow sap is thin.
