Waterstem Flower

This average-sized flower grows up to 2.0 feet (61 cm) tall. Its gray stem is thin and splits into many branching stems halfway up, and the large, orange leaves are long, tapering with toothed edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Two small flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 15 cm (5.9 inches) wide, with solid pink petals decorated with grey dots and a dark yellow central disk. The flower head is shaped like a cube with 18 widely spaced, narrow petals. They are sturdy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like sweat, and it has lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to a specific species.
