Aquamarine Vine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This enormous bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,459 feet (749.5 meters) and growing as high as 474 feet (144.5 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 8 years for the aquamarine stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3.0 feet (91 cm) and are thick and twisted.

The 7 pointed, smooth leaves reach up to 10 inches (25 cm) in length. They are grey with gold tips, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the bine produces a thick sheet of large cream flowers.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It can flourish even in standing water.
The pollen is slightly toxic to people but not to certain animals.
