Creamgrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This modest-sized, moss green grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in thick clumps that are rigid and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, cream flower.
During the early autumn, it produces a fair amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few large grains.
It commonly grows in large patches.
