Lilac Succulent

This average-sized cactus grows up to 54 feet (16.5 meters) tall. The pleated stem is lilac, and is covered in thick sheets of flexible light grey spines. The spherical body is brown, and is covered in large amounts of rigid red spines.

It is very slow growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with petals that are either sky blue or hazel, with a yellow center grows at the top, reappearing after 8 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 60 curved petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like old shoes.

The cactus's skin is rock-hard, the orange flesh is soft, and the pastel purple sap is thin.
