Bluevine Grass

This average-sized, lime or blue grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in thick clumps that are light and frail.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, white tuft.

During the late summer, it produces very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of large grains.
