Caramel

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 20 feet (6.1 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stem is moss green, and is covered in brittle caramel spines. The smooth-edged, very thin leaves are green on the edges and azure at the center. Handfuls of them grow from the base in a symmetrical pattern. The leaves are frail, but detach easily.

It is very slow growing, taking 12 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid crimson petals decorated with bright yellow lines and a yellow central disk, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 petals. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like fish.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the slate flesh is smooth, and the dark grey sap is thin.
