Copperbrush

Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This enormous shrub grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall and lives for around 39 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has dozens of very thick, slanted stems covered in wrinkled, brown bark, and the wood inside is pale brown.

The branches trail down towards the ground with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of miniature, asymmetrical, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are generally copper, hardy and sticky.

In late summer it produces lots of small, pink flowers with broad, flat petals with a tube-like floral cup. They fall easily and have a fairly strong scent that smells like varnish.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
