Yellowgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)This small, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in extensive patches that are strong and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, dark brown spikelet.
During the early autumn, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of medium-sized grains.
A particular bird species likes to nest in it.
