Coppergrass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)This short, copper grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The broad, flat stalks grow in sparse patches that are resilient and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, purple tuft.
During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of medium-sized grains.
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
