Golden Spire Moss

This orange-yellow moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In rainforests, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is giant, growing up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is overwhelmingly sturdy; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release dozens of spores.

It is suitable for making strong rope
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
It can flourish even in standing water.
