Flower type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This average-sized flower grows up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. Its burgundy stem is wispy, and the huge, yellow leaves are dark copper on the underside and are long, tapering with ripped edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.
Around 20 giant flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 18 cm (7.1 inches) wide, with beige petals and a yellow center. The flower head is made up of 11 petals in raised layers. They are hardy.
It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like new books, and it has very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
