Purple

This short tree grows up to 6 meters (19.7 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 119 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a stocky, straight trunk covered in delicate, wrinkled, light brown bark, and inside, the light wood is gray.

The tangled mess of branches are very long and thin and are covered with thick bunches of fuzzy, large, very thick leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are purple and olive.

In late summer it forms giant, beige, winged seeds that float and land far away.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with grassy ground between them.
