Emerald Petal

Flower type: Biennial (Sheds its leaves in winter)

This massive flower grows up to 14.8 feet (4.5 meters) tall. Its emerald stem is very thick and straight with a curved tip, and the tiny, gray leaves are very thin with irregular edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Each stem splits 3 to 9 times; a single small flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 36 cm (14.2 inches) wide, with solid white petals decorated with turquoise lines and a purple central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 39 curved petals. They are very delicate.

It has a powerful scent that smells like musk, and it has an average amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.

It only grows on the most fertile lands.
