Firegrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)This big, pink-red grass grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in small clumps that are flimsy and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, beige flower.
During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of giant grains.
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
It is suitable for making strong rope
