Firegrass

This big, pink-red grass grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in small clumps that are flimsy and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, beige flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of giant grains.
