Crimson Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In moorlands, and In heathlands.
It is average-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is very flexible; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores.
