Caramel Moss

This caramel moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In moorlands, and In marshes.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is very delicate.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release dozens of spores.
