Bluevine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This enormous vine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,919 feet (584.9 meters) and growing as high as 611 feet (186.2 meters).

It takes 15 years for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1.8 feet (56 cm) and are rough and gnarled.

The circular, smooth leaves reach up to 3.1 feet (94 cm) in length. They are dark purple at the bottom and deep green with brilliant blue edges at the top, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces lots of tiny grey flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces a handful of small seed pods.
