Blue Shield Moss

This dull blue moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In marshes.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is slightly sturdy.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
