Crimson Cactus

This giant cactus grows up to 153 feet (46.6 meters) tall. The wispy stem is gray, and is covered in hundreds of rigid crimson spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 12 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid white petals and an intense purple central disk grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a bowl made up of 19 widely spaced, narrow petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like new carpet.

The cactus's skin is thin, the copper flesh is smooth, and the silver sap is thin.
