Amberbell

This small cactus grows up to 12 feet (3.7 meters) tall. It splits randomly along the body to form 4 very thick stems. Each stem is moss green, and is covered in brittle olive spines. The mushroom-shaped body is amber, and is covered in hundreds of flexible black spines.

It is quick growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are purple on the underside and cream on the top, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. It has the faintest scent that smells like alcohol.

The cactus's skin is tough, the subtle purple flesh is rubbery, and the yellow sap is thin and can kill if consumed.
