Crimson vine

This small vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 12 feet (3.7 meters) and growing as high as 104 feet (31.7 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 3 months for the yellow stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and fibrous.

The very thin, rough leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are solid hazel or turquoise, with crimson splotches, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the vine produces several average blue flowers.
