Eternal Silverpine
Tree type: Coniferous (Stores water in its stem)This large tree grows up to 79 meters (259.2 feet) tall and lives "forever", with many known specimens being tens of thousands of years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.
It has a long and flexible, wavy trunk covered in paper-thin, rough, silver and white bark, and inside, the flexible wood is pale brown-grey.
The branches are very long and thick, with dozens of twigs covered with thick bunches of miniature, yellow-green needles. The needles themselves are flexible.
In late summer it produces tiny, orange seed pods.
The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.
Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with grassy ground between them.
