Copper Vine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 23 feet (7.0 meters) and growing as high as 41 feet (12.5 meters).
It takes 4 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are smooth and fuzzy.
The sickle shaped, smooth leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are cream with gold tips, and have jagged edges.
During late spring, the vine produces hundreds of small gold flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of large fruits.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It blooms only at night.
