Starlight

This short flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its lime green or slate stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 8 and are thick and straight, and split into numerous branching stems at the base, and the tiny, moss green leaves are light yellow-green on the underside and are thin with smooth edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.

3 to 9 giant flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with alternating petals of gentle orange and cyan, with a white central disk. The flower head is made up of many petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. They are sturdy.

It has a strong scent that smells like chocolate, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is visited by a large variety of them.
