Violetgrass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This big, yellow-green and dark brown grass grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The very thick stalks grow in thin clumps that are resistant and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, violet puff.

During the mid-autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.

The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
