Bluebell

This big leaf succulent grows up to 93 feet (28.3 meters) tall. The tapering stem is green, and is dotted with small bronze spines. The rounded leaves are purple on the sides and sky blue at the center. Small amounts of them grow on thin, aquamarine branches that are short, rigid and upright. The leaves are frail, but are very difficult to pull away.

It is very slow growing, taking 15 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are generally silver; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 50 curved petals. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like onion.

The leaf succulent's skin is extremely thick, the blue flesh is rough, and the cream sap is thin.
