Copper Creeper

This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 33 feet (10.1 meters) and growing as high as 90 feet (27.4 meters).

It takes 23 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are hard and brittle.

The stiff, pointed, soft leaves reach up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) in length. They are dark green with hazel tips, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces many balls of small copper flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces a few large berries.
