Aquaflora

This short tree grows up to 4 meters (13.1 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 590 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a long and flexible, straight trunk covered in delicate, rough, black with white speckled bark, and inside, the soft wood is burgundy-brown.

The small clumps of branches trail down to the ground and are covered with sparse amounts of clammy, huge, thick leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are sky blue at the bottom and green with pastel orange splotches at the top.

In early spring, it produces hundreds of medium-sized, silver blossoms with 4 pointed petals with a tube-like floral cup. They detach easily and have a strong scent that smells like vanilla.

In late summer it forms giant, green, winged seeds that float and land far away.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with patches of undergrowth between them.
