Golden Moss

This gold and beige moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps On trees.
It is big, growing up to 7 inches (18 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is overwhelmingly hardy.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
