Brown Spine Cactus

This massive cactus grows up to 123 feet (37.5 meters) tall. The narrow stem is brown, and is covered in many fine, cream, hair-like spines.

It is slow growing, taking 25 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with silver petals and a gentle red central disk grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight tube. It has a delicate scent that smells like cheese.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the dull orange flesh is smooth, and the copper sap is thin and can kill if consumed.
