Copper Creeper

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 34 feet (10.4 meters) and growing as high as 105 feet (32.0 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 4 years for the orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are rough and woody.

The stiff, pointed, crispy leaves reach up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) in length. They are grey at the bottom and copper with peach edges at the top, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces a thick sheet of large florescent yellow flowers.
