Emeraldvine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 10 feet (3.0 meters) and growing as high as 120 feet (36.6 meters).

It takes 4 months for the emerald stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The spiral, smooth leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are purple at the bottom and peach with lilac splotches at the top, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many colossal black flowers.

It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
