It has numerous long and flexible, curved stems covered in cracked, gray bark, and the wood inside is silver.
The branches are tall, rigid and upright that and are covered with copious amounts of giant, wide, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are generally lilac, sturdy and leathery.
In early summer it produces large amounts of tiny, slate flowers with fan-like petals with a tube-like floral cup. They fall easily and have a strong scent that smells like warm milk.
Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
It is suitable for making strong rope
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
