Pink Blossom
Flower type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its green stem is thin, and the large, lime or hazel leaves are wispy with irregular edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.
Two tiny flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with solid pink petals decorated with brown lines and a blood red central disk. The flower head is shaped like a bowl with 44 tightly layered, narrow petals. They are hardy.
It has an overpowering scent that smells like warm cookies, and it has excessive amounts of pollen. It is a self-pollinator, but is also particularly attractive to bees.
It is often home to a particular bird species.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
