Yellowgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This average-sized, yellow grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The very narrow and elongated stalks grow in large clumps that are durable.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, copper spikelet.
During the late autumn, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of tiny grains.
