Bluebell

This big flower grows up to 5.0 feet (1.5 meters) tall. Its lime green stem is wispy, and the giant, red leaves are needle-like with jagged edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Two tiny flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 59 cm (23.2 inches) wide, with blue petals and a bronze central disk. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals in raised layers. They detach easily.

It has a delicate scent that smells like skunk spray, and it has a modest amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also particularly attractive to bees.
