Copperactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This short cactus grows up to 12 feet (3.7 meters) tall. It splits at the base to form 6 fan-like stems. Each stem is yellow-green, and is covered in many rigid brown spines. The spherical body is copper, and is covered in many rigid gentle green spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with alternating petals of brown and black, with a sky blue central disk grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of 34 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. It has an overpowering scent that smells like blood.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the blue flesh is slimy, and the drab red sap is thin.


It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
