Crimsonbell

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 25 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous flexible, crooked stems covered in very thick, cracked, brown-green speckled bark, and the wood inside is mahogany-coloured.

The branches are long and slender with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with copious amounts of small, 9 pointed, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are solid deep orange or beige, with gentle yellow lines, strong and smooth.

In late summer it produces hundreds of giant, deep red flowers with slender, pointed petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are very delicate and have no scent.
