Copper-Coloured

This average-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 26 years. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has several stocky, straight stems covered in hard, cracked, yellow-brown bark, and the wood inside is copper-coloured.

The branches trail down across the ground that and are covered with very large amounts of small, needle-like, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in hazel, bright orange and turquoise varieties, delicate and leathery.

In mid-spring it produces dozens of tiny, violet flowers with pleated petals. They are very delicate and have no scent.
