Bloodvine

This big tree grows up to 78 meters (255.9 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 441 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a stocky, crooked trunk covered in hard, cracked, burgundy bark, and inside, the very hard wood is yellow.

The small clumps of branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with large amounts of sticky, large, asymmetrical leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are found in faded green, blood red and bronze varieties.

In late summer it forms tiny, green, tough-shelled seeds.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with patches of undergrowth between them.
