Burgundyvine

This short vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 8 feet (2.4 meters) and growing as high as 995 feet (303.3 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 3 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The needle-like, leathery leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are a shade of gray that gradient shifts to muted blue at the top, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the vine produces a handful of colossal azure flowers.
