Silver Moss

This silver moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas On rotten logs.
It is average-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is extremely durable; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores.

All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It is overwhelmingly resistant to fire damage.
