Twistvine

This massive shrub grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall and lives for around 35 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has dozens of sturdy, wonky stems covered in thick, rough, light brown bark, and the wood inside is burgundy.

The branches are long, thin and wispy with thousands of twigs that and are covered with small amounts of huge, needle-like, leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are either peach, or cyan with copper zig-zags, delicate and covered in fine hairs.

In mid-summer it produces large amounts of large, gold blossoms with heart-shaped shaped petals. They fall easily and have a faint scent that smells like musk.

In early winter finger-like fruits ripen. The leathery intense purple skin is tough and inedible, and the soft cyan flesh is sweet and juicy. The lime seed is very large and sits at the top of the fruit.
