Purple Spined Cactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This big cactus grows up to 90 feet (27.4 meters) tall. The narrow stem is brown, and is covered in thick bunches of rigid purple spines. The round body is moss green, and is covered in hundreds of flexible bronze spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with brown petals and a black central disk grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 20 petals. It has a strong scent that smells like warm milk.

The cactus's skin is thick, the white flesh is sticky, and the green sap is thin.
