Silvergrass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small, silver grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in small clumps that are rigid and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, sky blue puff.

During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of tiny grains.
