Bronzevine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short bine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 6 feet (1.8 meters) and growing as high as 148 feet (45.1 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.
It takes 2 months for the yellow stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are tough and woody.
The needle-like, soft leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are a shade of silver or bronze that gradient shifts to pink at the top, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the bine produces handfuls of tiny aquamarine flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of large seed pods.
The sap is edible and extremely spicy.
It can survive a very long time without water.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
