Coppergrass

This modest-sized, copper grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The broad, flat stalks grow in sparse patches that are light and frail.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, red tuft.

During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of medium-sized grains.
