Pinkfern

This huge flower grows up to 10.0 feet (3.0 meters) tall. Its yellow-green stem is very thin, and the large, moss green leaves are very thick with toothed edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Two medium-sized flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 82 cm (32.3 inches) wide, with pink petals and a yellow center. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cup. They are sturdy.

It has an intense scent that smells like rainy days, and it has a fair amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by one species of insect in particular.
