Violet

This giant flower grows up to 16.4 feet (5.0 meters) tall. Its yellow stem is thick and straight with a curved tip, and the large, silver leaves are white on the underside and are triangular with smooth edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Each stem splits 3 to 8 times; a single giant flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 75 cm (29.5 inches) wide, with alternating petals of violet and peach, with a grey central disk. The flower head is made up of 13 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight heart. They are sturdy.

It has a strong scent that smells like misty mornings, and it has an average amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also particularly attractive to butterflies.
